Warm clothing should be wool, polypropylene,
hollofil, thinsulate, or clothing with similar features.
No down clothing or down sleeping bags. All gortex gear should
be clean & seams treated with Scotchguard or a similar
product. Temperatures may vary from 15-70 degrees Fahrenheit in the Fall
with the chance of rain or snow always present. Be certain
you and your gear are in good condition.
To insure aircraft passenger safety Alaska hunters are
restricted to 50 pounds of gear in a soft type duffel
bag (waterproof recommended) plus guns and ammo.
