Alaska King Salmon Fishing

Our lodge offers a limited number of unguided fishing trips with the major attraction being the Alaska King Salmon. We are located on the Nushagak River approximately 28 miles from Dillingham in the beautiful Bristol Bay region of Southwest Alaska.Alaska King Salmon

Join us on the Nushagak River to experience the best fishing Alaska has to offer. WIth the largest king salmon run in the state why would you want to fish anywhere else? We are near the mouth of the river and the first lodge the fish pass, giving you the best opportunity to catch bright, fresh, active king salmon.

The Alaska King Salmon run on the Nushagak River begins around the beginning of June and tapers off around July 20th. During this time our guests have been known to catch fish over 50 pounds with the average big King for the Nushagak around 25 pounds.

There's More

It's Alaska after all and there's always more. Not only do we offer the opportunity to fish the largest King Salmon run in the state, Chum, Coho, Pink, and Sockeye Salmon all use the river in signifigant numbers as well. We even have Northern Pike, beautiful Grayling, and monster Rainbow Trout.

Oh yeah, and then there's the wildlife. Guests regularly see Bald Eagles, Moose, Alaskan Brown Bear, Black Bear, Fox, Otters, Beavers and more, so make sure and bring your camera.
